Styling Alloys... Will they fit?

Ive been looking at some alloys for my R reg mk1 punto and as far as i know these will fit...
but i just want to make sure

Wheel Spec:
17" Diameter
7" Width
PCD - 4 X 100
Offset (ET) - 40​

Also, if i had 15" alloys how much could or should i lower the car by?

and its a 1.2

PCD on fiats is 98 x 4 so you will need wobbly bolts I can tell you that much, plenty more info on here if you search for it.

17s will slow a 1.2 down a fair bit you know?

17's on a mk1 are for show only.

IT WILL HANDLE LIKE A DEATHTRAP.

seriously, it'll float about on th road and tramline like feck. it'll bump & grind everywhere, and generally be a pain in th anus.

16"x 195 is about the sensible max.

get some skirts on there and the wheels will sit better already
