17's fit, even lowered 60mm

so yes, 15" and 16" will deffo fit but some tyre sizes can rub a bit.

Yes. If you think about it .. a 16" wheel is just 1/2" taller than a 15" in every direction. Plenty of space.

What causes problems is that people then stick tractor tyres on their new rims, so the wheel and tyre together is MUCH bigger than the one they are replacing.

Generally if you go up in WHEEL size, you have to be fitting a TYRE with a smaller aspect ratio.

185/60x14 wants to be swapped for a 195/50x15 or a 195/45x16. Those wheel/tyre combo's would have a radius of 288mm, 288mm and 290mm respectively.

195/45x 16 is a slightly unusual size.. and slightly more expensive as a result. People tend to go for a 195/50 .. which has a radius of 300mm.. or even a 205/50x16 (306mm radius) which are significantly bigger than the wheel/tyre they replaced.

Stick to a 195/45x16 and it'll fit.
