Ok just out of interest my mate has a alfa but i can't remember if it is a 147 or a 156. Anyways he has got a bulb out behind one of his clocks and he wants to know how to get to it! Does anyone know how?? The clocks are like these. However i don't know if they are the same as his is a 1997 model. Hope someone can help. Cheers.

here are some pics hope they are of use to you this is for the 156 1998 model
it is not that hard just time consuming so if you do go to all this trouble to replace a bulb i would replace them all then you know they are all ok for a while
