Alfa Romeo GTV 2.0 Twin Spark

somebody we know has one of these, and he wants to know the engine number for parts quote purposes.

The Reg document has "unknown" where the engine number should be, and cant find it in engine bay, any ideas?

My cinq and the other halfs mx5 have the engine number on the reg document, would it be possible for this to be omitted on some reg docs?

Found this on another site referring to the 2.0 ts engine.

"As you look at the engine from the front of the car, there is a block to the right of the exhaust manifold and down a little, it is stamped on there"
