Technical Airbag

The airbag warning light came on this afternoon as I pulled onto the driveway. I need to drive the car to Fiat tomorrow to get them to sort it out, but its a bit of a distance, is there anything I can do to make the car safe, I don't want it to go off while im driving.

Nothing apart from taking the fuse out, which probably isnt the best thing to do......

im sure the airbag wont go off.
i had this same problem on my mk2 and they replaced the airbag switch on warranty

You mast take car to garage to reset your air bag chip. You can drive your car, but air bag is not in function.
