General Air-Con help?!?!

I have a '52 1.2 Active 8v punto (which I love) but the only luxury i seem to be missing is aircon, anyone know how much it would cost to get fitted into my basic little punto?

It would cost a small fortune, cos i was going to buy a 1.2 active sport without and asked how much, cant remember exact amount, but the dealer guy you are better off and it would be cheap to buy an ex demo car which i then bought was a 52 plate 1.2 8v dynamic which came with air con, abs and nice comfie seats.

Might be worth trading it in maybe?

Doh! not the answer i was hoping for but thanks anyway. I would trade in my car but have these lil' problem called money!!! oh well windows down it is then!

I know what you mean though, can get damn hot!

I've got A/C I don't often use it, more of a windows down person, also got wind deflectors so that helps a lot at higher speeds.

But I do find that when I do use it, it's a god send!! Much better than a sunfoor imo!

I cant believe u dont use it that often!!! if i had it, it would be on all the time in summer.

My dad wanted air con in his old off-roader and he got quoted just over a grand fitted. Also you probably wont even get half of that back when u sell that car.

There are quite a few aftermarket air con companies out there, check yellow pages for a quote.

I think Aircon should be fitted as standard, esp to black cars. AKA the summer oven!

Now that I totally endorse, if even our Panda has air-con so should anything else.

Cars should have:

1. air con
2. ragtop/rollback roof
3. traction control

...as standard

It's an astral blue car, so not as hot as a black one! i agree air-con should be standard!!! although living in england don't need it all year!
