General Aftermarket headunit no sound

Right, bought the daughter a panda 319 pop, standard headunit is basic and the drivers speaker doesn't work but the rest do, no problem.

Bought a sony headunit with Bluetooth, dab etc, nice upgrade, Bought the Canbus iso lead, plug it all in and nothing from any of the speakers, headunit powers up, but no music from speakers. Tried another known working alpine headunit and exactly the same. Put standard headunit in and speakers work.

I'm baffled by this and so far cost a small fortune for fascia, iso leads etc.

I have a 2011/2012 Ducato, it required Proxy Alignment for the aftermarket android radio to work.

You could start with checking if the speaker connections are correct. You should have a pinout in the installation instructions of the Sony unit. Or a sticker on the unit itself. As far as I remember, there was also a sticker on my factory Ducato radio.
