Technical Aftermarket head unit not working with steering wheel controls...

I’ve treated my new Punto to a new head unit, but now the steering controls aren’t working

Has anyone had this issue before? Or even better, anyone know how to fix it?

Depending on the unit you fitted it would need a interface.

Im guessing you had a radio cassette HU? if so your better off trying to find the standerd punto CD player, thats the only way really you can use the streeing controls for an fast and easy way..

I think he/she means the mk1.

I've got the whole shebang now, and WITH the proper alpine interface for the alpine HU I have it still doesn't work. I once got it to turn when I hit the horn by accident, but it may have been a coincidense.
