Adding a turbo to an NA 1.4 8v

Not sure if this has been covered before but I couldn't find anything in the search.

Do any of you guys know if this is possible and how much work it is to do if it is?

I have a 2010 grande punto

anything is possible, lots of work though you cant just bolt a turbo on

its much the same as turboing a 1.2 or 1.1 NA lots have done that so read them threads for an idea.

It's a lot of work. AFAIK, no-one in the UK has done it on that engine. A (very) few Poles have, but the engines went "pop" -- but we don't know why.

It would probably be cheaper, easier, and more reliable to just fit a T Jet.
