Technical Ad blue on 2.3 2020

Had to fill up the ad-blue once at maybe 3500 miles. After reading of the engines not wanting to start if they run out, I was good, and filled up within 100 miles of the first notification - well before any warning or countdown.

However, the message was something like "ad blue low"
I filled up
10 mins later still "ad blue low"
then
"Engine will not crank if stopped" (!)
and this stayed on for 20 mins
then
"ad blue low" for 10 mins
Then it cleared and has been fine since

Is that normal? I was sweating for the 20 mins and was fortunate I was on a long drive - but is that how it is?

Thanks, not seen that before - seems to be an Oz document?

On the pages of instrument cluster alert, I only got the first alert as I filled up almost straight away, and then it went direct to the end alert for 20 mins before going to the first alert and then off. Bit of a "oh ohh" moment but tuned out OK

Just curious to see what others' vans did in real world fill ups?

If it was low you should have got at least 10 litres in
Did your filling hose penetrate deep enough into the filler pipe to push open the spring loaded flap?
Most of the filling hoses supplied with the top up bottles are a bit too short.
I use garden hose on the end of a funnel.

I got 13L and used a petrol station "ad blue" pump
Filled up fairly quickly after light coming on.
Yours sounds like how I expected it to be rather than panicing the driver
