Hi to all i have just purchased a 2004 Active Sport for which i am going to use as Driving School car, car starts fine hot or cold and is quiet, but when accelerating there is a hunting feeling, it accelerates ok but not as smooth as it should be, it does not missfire or splutter bang etc, also when changing gear engine revs seem to hold their current position, ie pulling away change at 3000rpm de clutch and release throttle, revs should drop but mine stay at 3000 rpm for 2-4 seconds then die to tick over. I spoke to Angle Tuning today thinking it might be ecu related but was advised to check for an Air leak so i will do asap but has anyone been here before, many thanks cant wait Alan.
