Well I've ordered a new pick up for the distributor, should be here in a couple of days. Here's hoping thats it fixed

Fitted the new distributor pickup and put it all back together.
It fired up lovely and it is now smoother to drive and misfire gone!

Where did you get the new pick up from? I have a spare dizzy that's inners look like your old one, would be nice to have it ready just in case...

Local motor factors were £34 for an intermotor part.
I got mine from http://www.tuneparts.co.uk/pickup.htm (am I allowed to advertise?) - though think it was his last one in stock (of the wire exit left ones). I was hoping it had Marelli written on it, it doesn't, but it does say Made in Italy on the back.
