My wifes 500Ls (2014) AC stopped working.
The mechanic found this:
- coolant is filled and ok
- compressor is running when blower setting is 1
- compressor stops running when blower setting is set higher (2-3-4)
- the fans respond to the blower setting change, however I find setting 1 to blow almost no air.
He has no idea what the issue is and now we need to think what to do.
Things to try:
- replace rotary blower thing/resistor 200€
- replace climate computer module +600€
- measure things until issue is found (100€/h)
I am reluctant to just try stuff without knowing the issue. Any suggestions or advice is appreciated.
