I bought my ulysse last week with a few faults but for the pricei paid I can't complain. The exhaust was knackered and the abs light was on. I got underneath her today to fit a new exhaust and while I was under there thought I'd have a look to see ifi could see anything wrong with the brakes. I found that the near side has a sensor missing compared to the off side and the off side has the whole wire missing at the top where if plugs in. My question is do these cables have a tendency to break?. If I buy new cables and plug them in would they work or would the codes still need to be reset?.

ABS will probably be fine with new cables. It "self checks" every time you start up.
