Technical Abarth 595 Pista engine vibrating

Hi guys,

I have a problem with a 2018 Abarth pista 160 bhp and I hope someone here has experienced the same and can help me solve this problem.

When the car is running at idle you feel a vibration, the vibration continues while driving and is not speed sensitive so we can rule out the powertrain I suspect.

I have several Abarth 595 and have tried to put in the ignition coils and spark plugs from another car to see if the problem would be solved but unfortunately the vibration remains.

The vibration feels like the car is running on 3 cylinders but I don't think this is the case. I can't find any error codes stored in the computer.

Anyone who happened to have this?

Is this a Multiair system ?


If basic Spark supply makes no difference.. then the Fuelling from the multiair could be a problem

Any idea if the oil strainer has been checked?
