Hi,

I'm looking to do a 1.4 16v conversion in my seicento and already have a 1.4 16v starjet engine.
I was wondering if it would be possible to fit a 1.2 16v head, camshaft housing and inlet manifold to both eliminate the variator and also allow me to put a cable operated throttle body.
Would the 1.2 head and cams just bolt on to the starjet block or am I going to run into problems?

Has anyone on here done this before?

Thank you!

Ivan

I'd be interested to know if this would work. I was thinking along the same lines but with the newer 1.4 8v engines...

For 8V it works with respect to part selection.

I will update my thread in the technical section with details if needed.

Bolt pattern for the cylinder head remained unchanged.

I wanted to fit a T-jet sump on my Grande Punto 8V block and these are not bolt on as far as I can remember.

Regards

Kruno
