Done a couple of easy mods the last few weeks, which have made long journeys a lot more comfortable.

Armrest,
managed to drop on an armrest from the breakers for £60,this was the wrong colour cloth, but had it covered in black leather to match gearlever/handbrake etc,it takes around 15 mins to fit and makes the interior look a lot more classy.

Drivers seat,

i used to find the drivers seat very unsupportive on long drives,so following a post on the forum i decided to ad some padding under the seat foam.i used a kneeling pad from garden centre and cut it into 2 strips 300mmx100mmx20mm and stuck them together,i then undid the cloth covering the seat and lifted up the foam, there is a metal bar across the seat,i stuck the foam down using double sided tape and replaced the foam and cloth, you now fall into the back of the seat with extra support under your thighs.

cost around £3 for pad and 30 mins to complete.

the seats are now as comfy as my Zafira recaros,Happy days:)

The seat was one of my biggest gripes when I first bought the Bravo and I did the exact same mod, except I used a peice of 30mm wood under the seat, taped it to the frame as you did and re-covered it as you did, made the seat much better but it's still too short compared to other cars I've had, a FIATism..............

Twinncams, its was your post i copied.

it does make the seat a lot more usable though, before i did the mod i was thinking about having 3 inch cut of my legs !!!
:)
