Technical a call to mk1 owners carb

Have been umming and arrring about putting the big original carb back on after rebuilding it correctly.

So, could you LOVELY mk1 owners, or others help me out a little?

I could do with photos, or part numbers of the throttle cable, and the linkage over the rocker cover.
If any one has one, ill exchange my first born and money!

I also would like to ask about a manual choke conversion for this, im sure I read some one has done one already?

I recommend browsing www.dellorto.co.uk as they are very helpful. If you can't find it on their website, then they are good at answering questions via email / phone. The website looks a little modernised though which may not be a good thing. Hope they can help you though.

Choke kit I bought off ebay I think...

Good luck! Definitely worth the mod though, the auto choke caused so many winter breakdowns for me...
