Ive got the wife a late 1997 Cinquecento S.

Does it have a knock sensor..

Why i ask is that i use 99 ron fuel in my Car.And i filled hers up the other day with the same.

I don't think it has a knock sensor.

Mine runs MUCH better on SuperUnleaded, I know it shouldn't do, but it does.

I also think she seems to run better on the 99 Ron.

Would i be getting any benefits from using it?

Surely some of the cleaning additives would do some good.

its one of those things where you cant justify the advantages with the higher price. if your happy to pay out though. well thats a different story

Remember that the 899 engine was designed in the 1950s, when the term 'knock sensor' was only related to hearing someone at your front door.

well the only benefit if the engine has been maintained poorly over its life as most are there is probably some deposits of carbon on the pistons so this could help set off pre-detonation...for now
