has anyone got a 800watt RMS amp for sale.. must be 2 channel and 800watt rms not max...??

are you sure its 800 rms, i think even the best brand amps dont do 2 channel amps with that sort of output

U'll need a at least 1 red top battery to be able to power that m8. Make sure u budget for that, plus some bloody expensive wiring. Whats it gonna run, 2 1500w subs?

power cap tho.... will help a little wont it?
i aint too clued up on power caps, i have always read conflicting stories about them and got a little confused, but a power cap will drain in a matter of seconds i would imagine

ah could well be ok then, im guessing you could uprate battery anyway

If you use a power cap then u'll need at least 3 farad. You will also find that you wont be able to have anything else going apart from the stereo coz it'll drain the battery so quickly. Such as lights wont work after 30 mins...Try it if you want, but bit of advice = dont go that far. lol

I am running 2 X Sony XM D1000p5 and a Sony XM 444. Both of the XM's configured for 900 Watts rms and the XM444 Bidged for 80 Watts and using 2 x 1F power caps.
System runs okay on bog standard battery and alternator as long as engine is running
straight off battery lucky if i get 20mins before death.
Hopefully before to long getting some 2 ohm subs and another 2 amps then a rework of the electrics will be needed.
