Technical 5th gear vanishes sometimes!?

Hi everyone, my sporting cinqs 5th gear seems to just vanish sometimes. Happily cruising away, go to slip it into 5th and nothing but solidness, no gear to slip it into at all. If I go back into 4th gear then try again it slips into 5th no problem. What do you lot reckon? Oil? Clutch adjustment? New clutch? New gearbox!!??

Some synchro mesh is amiss methinks.

have a look at the gear linkage underneath the gearsick sorted my problem out which was quit similar to yours

blimey I'm not the only cinqy owner up this late then, didnt expect any answers til tommorow!
