Technical 500L Radio

Wife's radio controls have stopped working so you can't change channels or the volume. Both the controls on the radio on on the steering wheel have no effect.
I was going to get another radio but I see there is also something called a radio control module. Could this be the problem and where is it located?
Any advice welcome.

Have you tried removing battery power..?

It might just reset
