General 500L mpv Boot Locked

Hi All
I have a 500L MPV the boot is locked closed does anyone know how to get the inner boot lining off and then the boot open, I am being told that its electronic so does not have cable release is this correct ?.

Hi from memory, check in handbook but if you get into boot on the latch there is a small yellow triangle which can be removed and a screwdriver inserted to release tailgate

Did you find the cause of you boot not opening please as I have the same problem on my 500L ?

Hi, had the same issue ,thought it was mechanical and my father in law put oil on the hinges and it works fine now. *Fingers crossed
