Technical 500L Instrument Light

Hi,

How can I replace the backlight bulb in the 71 instrument cluster (rectangular instrument panel)?

First off from the fuel tank side of the dash:
remove the speedo cable
remove the 2 large wiring plugs
then from inside the car push up the 2 metal clips and the bottom of the dash module will pull out then unhook from the top.
You can then replace the bulb

Thanks Franko - I searched everywhere for this photo. I'll give it a try soon.
Just one more question - How is the speedo cable attached, screw or friction?

It's screwed on. I have a spare 500L dash here, if you need some bulbs, I can post.
