Technical 500L front seat questions

OK, my driver's seat is feeling a bit tired, to the extent that I can feel the lower rear bar on my backside when I sit in it. The passenger seat sees to be OK, so I was wondering whether the seats can be swapped side to side on the car?

Alternatively, is there anything that can be done to improve things e.g. pinching together the loops of the springing underneath and/or putting some extra foam padding in such as camping mat? Or is foam replacement the best option?

To start with, yes they CAN be swapped side-to-side, but I don't reccomend that you do it. The seats are 'handed' so that the back-squab release/lock handle is on the OUTSIDE side of the seat. If you swap them over, there is a good chance that the 'lock' lever (which will now be on the INSIDE side of the seat) won't return to the 'locked' position---it fouls on the central tunnel. Any/all your suggestions will work and help alleviate the situation; have you had an 'electronic' search of your area to see if there is an upholsterer in your area? It doesn't HAVE to be a vehicle upholsterer---any competetant upholsterer should be able to re-pack to seat to make it more comfortable.

Checking a bit more it was really the backrest that had gone baggy, so I removed the cover and foam from the backrest and found the culprit: the hessian backing had split away from the moulded rubber most of the way up one side of the rubber tube cover, making the front of the backrest sag. I've stuck it back with spray adhesive and stitched it with strong thread for extra strength. I'll refit it all tomorrow and check it out.

Después de navegar por Internet, vi que aquí hay verdaderos especialistas de este mini automóvil.
Actualmente está decorado como un "rally" (bares, cubos, roadtrip, etc), pero veo el problema de la revisión anual del estado de España, que es muy selectiva.
En cuanto a los asientos baquet OMP, los tengo que quitar, aparte de ser talla S y no me queda bien la espalda (snif).
Bueno mi duda/pregunta es si los asientos delanteros de un SEAT 600 me servirian para mi Fiat 500? ¿O son demasiado grandes? Como no encuentro de segunda mano, y solo sería para pasar la revisión anual, entonces buscaría unos cubos de tipo clásico.
Como última duda, el FIAT 500 L, ¿lleva cinturones delanteros de serie? Para saberlo también para la revisión.

En cuanto a los asientos baquet OMP, los tengo que quitar, aparte de ser talla S y no me queda bien la espalda (snif).
Bueno mi duda/pregunta es si los asientos delanteros de un SEAT 600 me servirian para mi Fiat 500? ¿O son demasiado grandes? Como no encuentro de segunda mano, y solo sería para pasar la revisión anual, entonces buscaría unos cubos de tipo clásico.
Como última duda, el FIAT 500 L, ¿lleva cinturones delanteros de serie? Para saberlo también para la revisión.

For the benefit of (I guess) the majority of people on the forum who do not speak Spanish, the writer is asking if SEAT 600 front seats would fit in a Fiat 500L His L is kitted out in rally style including OMP front seats which a) are too small and b) could fall foul of the Spanish equivalent of MOT test as they are non-standard.

My answer would be :
1. I don't know as I've only got a 500L
2. Fiat 600 seats may fit - anyone know?
3. SEAT 600 seats may be different from Fiat 600 ones anyway since the cars were built under licence in Spain and may not be exact replicas of the Fiat items.

Can anyone help?

@HondaSdosmil Hola y bienvenido al forum. He tentado responder a tu pregunta pero creo que no haya mucha gente en el forum con experiencia de veículos SEAT. Puede ser que algiuen tenga la respuesta que buscas... a ver! En todo case, puede haber diferencias entre los 600 de Fiat y de SEAT.

Una cosita más: creo que la mayoría de la gente aquí habla inglés y no castellano, pues podría ser más útil si puedes comentar en inglés, aún si ésto necesitaría el uso del Google Translate . Suerte!
