General 500 Workshop Manual

Hi,

I see a few people have this now and have seen a few people on eBay that appear to do 'copies'.

Can you download it from anywhere - have looked and can't find it?

Would have been good if it could have been hosted somewhere for members to download?

The marea one is hosted on rapid share or somewhere. So it is possible to do it.

not sure how legal it would be though. Which would mean issues with linking to it. If someone was good enough to upload it.

I presume the eBay ones are just copies?

Noticed the Marea one doing the rounds in various places...

I appreciate it is maybe a 'grey' subject. Just don't see why we should have to pay some random to dish out copies on eBay if it can be put here and appreciated by all. Is it a big file - from what I have heard the 500 one is not PDF format?

Would be good if somebody could stick it up as they are fantastic for little odds and ends. Have the official one for my Suzuki and its great for the odd easy job so would really appreciate one for the 500.

Think the majority will be copies. I'm also sure there are ways around the legal technicalities. But thats one area my knowledge doesn't extend to.

CD is 484MB. I can't find any reference to copyright on it but would be nervous about posting it personally.

or buy from dealer....might cost £20-30 but how much did you spend on the car, its worth it

I'm waiting for mine to arrive from Italy via ebay.
Cost me a tenner including p&p.
Listing did not say it was original!
