Got a quote from Indy Fiat specialist 5 year service + cambelt and tensioners £325 inclusive is that OK?

Thanks

thats very cheap! its a 60k service at 5 years and then belt etc on top make sure they use gen parts and do what they say they will and if they do thats unbeatable

I am presuming my quote is without a water pump change, is that essetial on 1.4?

Cheers

Well, mine was for the full kit apparently including fitting, which I assume includes the water pump. Didn't have the normal service included of course though. Thought it wasn't too bad a price from a main dealer really.

It's best to change the water pump at the same time as the cambelt. If you don't, it can lead to problems down the line. See this thread... https://www.fiatforum.com/stilo/180640-fairly-annoyed-stilo-owner.html

Anyone know if the water pump replacement is required on 1.4 Stilo at time of cambelt and if so how much extra will it be. My quote was for cambelt & tensioners so assume no pump included?

Thanks

Apologies for bumping back up, but did anyone know if 1.4 water pump change essential at cam change as my service/cam is tomorrow?

Thanks

its not essential but good idea to as takes bout 15mins more on most cars when belt off and if ends up leaking ya may end up req new belt when changing pump. no good dealer would remove belt and reuse it when doing waterpump,

cambelt kit is belt and tentioners BTW
