Styling 4x100 pcd OK for Punto Mk1 ?

I understand that Punto is 4x98 pcd. Will the more common 4x100 pcd fit without issues, i.e. no vibration at motorway speeds?
I have original 14inch alloys and they do vibrate a bit, but one or two of them look a bit tired so they may be knackered causing the inbalance.

PCD correction (wobbly) bolts will compensate for the 2mm variance. The vibration is most likely either caused by a buckle or having wheels with the wrong centre bore as that is what keeps the wheel centered on the hub. Either that or they could need balanced.

yes they will fit you just need the following:

- wobbly bolts
- spigot rings for the alloys to stop vibration at high speeds
- may need spacers

Yes my wheels are standard so they don't need the spigot rings, but as I said one or two are tired. Had 3 new tires recently and rebalanced all 4s. One of the tired wheel seem to have quite a bit of weights attached to it, so I suspect it to be buckled a bit. Need to get it to a tire shop an recheck it while I am looking this time.

Renovating buckled alloys is not cheap and they often go out again. Alloy is not easy stuff to work with. Mikes wheels & tyres will almost certainly be the lowest cost option.

dumbedore, before you commit to a set of wheels, find out the PCD, centre bore and offset. Post these specifications on the forum and we can advise if they will fit, and what bolts, spigot rings and spacers are required to make them fit. Basically, you CANNOT make wheels fit with an offset less than 33mm, a bore size less than 58.1mm and a PCD outside the range 96-100mm without some serious machine work.

Yes, I know the 58.1 center bore rules out fitting standard vauxhall, vw and bmw 4x100pcd wheels. So 4x100pcd has to be after market ones with spigot rings for 58.1. Not sure about the ET as this is also dependent on the width of the wheel. But as you say ET33 probably minimum for a 6x14 wheel. The rear is the problem, I think the front looks less critical. I don't remember the ET on my wheels but I think they may be ET37, but they are skinny 5x14 wheels. I drive the car mostly in town so is not such a big issue the wheel vibration as it is only noticeable at high speeds and smooth surface.

I got a Punto MK1 and I'm looking at some 13" Alloys the specifics are:
13"
4x100
ET38
5.5J
These are off a VW.
Will these fit?

and rebalanced
Vibrations will be coming from incorrect tracking meaning new tyres will be scrubbed to death
