Technical 45 hard downshift

It is hard (ish) to downshift from 4th to 3th gear on my Mk1 45 and upshift from 1st to 2nd.
The gearbox oil is 90W (not very clever choice, it is supposed to be 80/90W - my only excuse is that the gas station did not have any 80/90W available when I needed it ), but I have noticed the trouble even before the oil change.
I tried to adjust the clutch cable, it helped somewhat, but not too much.
Any idea other than changing a gearbox is very welcome .
If it is a clutch, it will have to wait until spring .

check your gearbox linkages, think it will most definetly be fault. what gearbox do you have in your cabby. rod shift or cable shift. rodshift has small bvushes that goes busted after a few years and needs replacement.
