chaos said:FFS Beau, you ask this every time a mod is mentioned What were you told before?
Then you would be stupid
Any mod must be declared to the insurance co - if they find out a mod has been made and not declared, they would have every right to invalidate your policy - which could land you in all sorts of bother
punto_jr_sx75 said:I can fully understand that, but it would also invalidate it if it had one on when i bought my car and i didnt know about it. The only reason i wouldnt declare it is because being 17 and just passed my test, any mod like that would raise my insurance to over £3000 per annum. Again, i know you'll say 'well you shouldnt put one on', but then again, its not very likely that a crash report engineer would be able to tell. I can fully see you're point, and i know that if i could afford one AND insure it then i would have it, but at the min my car is insured as TPFT and thats ridiculously priced as it is.
