Just been quoted £380 for a 36k service on my Abarth..... wouldn't mind if they actually did very much but that doesn't even include a new cam belt. apparently new parts are: 3 filters and the fluids !!!! - oh yes and 4 hours work.....

Anyone know a reliable garage in east anglia ?

I was having a chin wag to a mate yesterday [Ken SHerlock ]we call him curly Ken cos he aint got a lot of hair :p been a family friend for yonks our kids went to school together anyway he runs his own garage and he told me that he has just spent a wad of cash on diagnostic and examiner and gear soooooooo glad i aint got to take my stilo to fiat for the engine managment light thats on atm Arrrrrr result (y)

Thanks all. been on to powerfiat and they will do the servicing for £189 inc vat so it makes it well worth the hours drive....:)

how much is the 48k service on a JTD? mines coming up soon :(

I just paid £303.50 for that.

Unfortunately I got the Fiat garage to replace the brake pads all round too at a cost of £220 so total bill was over £500.

I could've got the brake pads for £35 and done it myself but only if it was summer:(

I know what you mean about the brake pads, when mine was in for its 2year service at the end of last year! They told me my brake pads would need replacing next time round! £80 fronts and £80 rear = £160 thats vat, fitting and product... its still dam expensive!!! Well i plan to fit my pads myself just before it goes in for the 3rd year service.. and ive managed to pick up the front brand new for £20 off ebay from a fiat garage and still looking for some rears... i know there is various other rear pads on there but i want the exact same as whats on there standard! But the rear were only about £35/40 brand new from fiat thats if i dont pick them up cheaper in the meantime, so over all ive be saving a good £ton!!

Just been to see a small independent fiat specialist near where i live for my 36k service and he has told me £89 all in(y)autoworld £378.95 and he finds eny thing else that wants doing he never touches it untill he as seen the owner of the car.the only thing he cant do is diog testing.I told him about this site and that i would put his garage details on [he gets all his parts from autoworld fiat he had a delivery when i was there]
