Hi got my cinq (sporting) today, but want to start modin straight away. Got a few questions that should take couple of secs to answer.

How the hell do u get the gear knob off? (dont wanna force it incase it doesnt twist off)

What is the easiest way of taking the badges off with out peeling off the thin layer of paint? (glues the easy bit afterwards)

Finally will the universal bosses for the steering wheel fit easily or is it a dodgy fit like the universal induction kits?

and as for the debadging u could try hot soapy water, some people use wd40, theres also nail polish remover, and that bug and tar remover, or an hairdryer

and for the last comment i dont do universal you cant guarantee they ever fit buy summert for the cinq

The gear nob is deffo glued on and they are a pain. You have to get an adaptor from OMP's website so that reverse works properly. £10 i think. The badges just use a hairdryer but don't use a hot setting as you risk bubbling your paint work. Can't help with the steering wheel one sorry

Ask Mase about the steering wheel boss.

Hairdryer for the badges and prepare for some awful hassle with the gear knob andalso BEWARE THE REVERSE ENGAGE MECHANISM!
