Technical 286 heater control illumination

These bulbs to illuminate the fan heater displays have never worked. I am unsure whether it is each bulb or if perhaps the four of them are on one fuse that might have blown? Is there anyway to check? Where are the fuses?

check the fuse, theres a diagram on back of the fuse box cover

take the heater control cover off and take out 1 of the bulbs. Youll see if it is blown, as it will be blackend where it has burnt out. there cheap enough to replace

Thanks mate. The bulbs look in-tact. I have just had a look at the fuses, but I can't figure out which one I need to check from the diagram. Anyone know if these bulbs are on the same fuse as anything else and how I can work out which one it is?

jus had look in handbook, check fuse F49, f51...there the numbers from a mk2b so maybe different?!

Ok I will have a look at those in the morning, when it is light. Do you know what else are on these fuses?
