General 2016 fiat 500 DAB radio

My daughter has just bought a new fiat 500. It has a touch screen radio, but no DAB. Can it be retro fitted or does it need a new head unit?
She thought it had DAB fitted and the sales person didn't make her any the wiser.
Lesson learnt- be firm with your questions and demand an answer!

No, I think it needs a complete new radio, have you checked all the menus and things, I'd be furious that a new 2016 car hasn't got DAB as standard, you could try kicking up a fuss with fiat uk and see where that gets you

I installed an Autodab unit. You don't see it and you can still use the steering wheel controls. The only downside is the aerial is one that sticks to the windscreen or you could replace the existing aerial to an fm/dab one.
