Technical 2014 Fiat Punto 'Easy' Heater / Blower Fan

Hi Everyone,

New member here and my wife just got a 2014 Punto. Lovely car but was advised the blower fan is knackered. I have found the usual suspect wires but they don't really look the same to any videos I have watched as they always show the previous model.

There are three wires hanging down, I'm not even certain the resistor chamber is even there anymore. Just looking for advice really, what are these three wires as any video I watch only ever shows 1 wire.

There is a walkthrough for older cars ..

But if yours has a digital display..rather than twisty dials

You want a different approach

Have you checked the fan spins..

Both by hand and with 12volts supplied?

Older type has a traditional resistor

Later cars use electronics.. a PWM??

Thanks for the quick responses. Yes this one is the digital display one. How exactly do I turn the fan by hand, where is it etc (sorry to sound daft) and from the links I have viewed there is still the single wire where I have a bunch of three. Will this still be the same procedure?

I must just be thick as after a few days of studying that thread and watching various videos I still can't find the answer.

Nevermind, thanks anyway.. I'll just take it to my usual mechanic I think
