It is a bit tricky. I'd be inclined to let professionals do it. I get mine done quite regularly. Never leave gearbox in gear when stopped for lengthy periods at roadworks or long queues. I even drop into neutral when at stop lights. Saves engagement of throwout for lengthy periods and keeps heat out of clutch oil. It burns and blackens quite readily if abused.
