Hi I have a 2010 A500C with the MTA box and it has a squeal when setting off under load. In 1st or reverse starting up a hill for instance. When the car is in motion the squeal stops. Modulating the throttle does not change the sound. Is this a worn clutch or oil in the clutch? No other issues with the gearbox. Car has 43000 miles on the clock

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Pic for attention :)

It could be the clutch. We had an issue that seems familiar with a similar vehicle. The noise was gone after clutch replacement.

If you have MES access you could try the various reset/recalibrate routines, but if the clutch disc is badly worn it's not going to make a difference...
