We've just bought our first motorhome, a Ducato 2006 (I think it's the 2002-2006 model) and it needs it's first repair.

How do I find out torque settings? I've tried searching online but can't find it. The specific one we need right now is the rear shock absorber bolts (top and bottom). But it would be good to have a place to look them up in future.

We've ordered the bolts from a fiat commercial parts supplier but not picked them up yet. We are hoping to do the repair ourselves but can't find the information.

The earlier model to which you refer (2002 - 2006) is commonly referred to as the x244. To confirm see either V5C or VIN plate on vehicle.
Vehicle number should have the format xxx244nnnnn.........

I am attaching link to an online copy of Fiat eLearn for the x244, on the Russian website 4cardata. While the 4cardata website is convenient the document is not complete. I would advise you to purchase your own CD of eLearn, which were recently on Ebay for less that £5. A good investment. Further if you can create a replica CD on a computer SSD it will greatly speed up access.

As an aside may I mention the fact that I have a 2006 2.8 JTD. It took some time for me to deduce that my all black UFI fuel filter, was in fact a "Green" filter. This is relevant to the engine wiring diagrams. (Fuel filters on the later x250 models are partly green.)
