for a 2002 Fiat Punto 1.2 L 8 V (188) how long does the PCV valve usually last ?
Vehicle is not burning oil, but as is obvious it's 20 yrs old but with low mileage....
is this easy to change ?
anyone assist me where it is ?

PCB valve? On the 16V I thought it was just a wire mesh inside a metal part on the top part of the engine and then a small tube going to the inlet manifold and a larger tube going to the breather hose.

Yes, @judderbar is right. There is no PCV valve, just the "breather" hose. Some engine oil does go into air admission that way, as oil vapors. That is why, some peoples use "oil catcher" filters. I'll put a photo with a filter that I find to be very ingenious. It's simple and effective. I did not find one on the market, I wanted to use one on my Punto, but I've improvised one. I post the pictures of that, as well.

No, there isn't. It's just the breather hose, the one in the picture below. It transfers the oil vapors from the engine block to the air admission. Inside of that, on the Head Cylinder part, I've placed that filter that I've improvised, the one from the pictures above.
