Technical 2001 Punto 1.2 16v P0340 error

Hello there!
I've got a stubborn punto from 2001, 1.2 16v that has been showing the p0340( camshaft position sensor) error for the past few months. So far I've had the camshaft sensors changed and the timing belt also checked out. The car is starting alright and it's not stalling either.. I just don't know what to do with it so I'm open to any suggestions

Have you SEARCHED that code in the 188 section.. and gone through the options?

Has it had a cambelt in the last year??

The cambelt has been changed 18.000 km ago and it was recently checked for misalignment. One thing I didn't check was the wiring from the ECU to the sensor though, as I've seen some suggesting that in other threads.
