Just recently my car has started to slightly shudder when changing from first to second gear when coming off the clutch.
It seems to be as if you are not giving the car enough revs but this is happening even when doing around 2000 revs. It really seems to shudder just when the clutch is fully released. Its a 07 Grande Punto Active Sport 1.4. The car has done about 28000 miles and has just recently been serviced and MOT'd.

Any help on this matter would be good!

Check that the inlet to the airbox is secured by a little rubber mount. Mine broke and at low revs the inlet pipe shakes about and rattles on the mounting post. I fixed mine in place with a little bit of silcone sealer.

I hope this is the same issue for you and not anything more serious.

Clutch may be going ? But would have thought It would be worse in all gears.
All oils must have been checked due to recent M.O.T I hope! : P
Possibly could be misfiring ? Is it making a 'meatier' sound out of exhaust? This can be cause due to water in engine/spark plugs but if you have a cover for them I would assume that this isnt The problem.

Thats all I have : )
