I'm just about to enter 500 ownership
Looking to buy a 2011-2014 500 Lounge
I've seen some for sale by traders with the two tone seats what look like the seats normally in pops is this normal?
Can anyone recommend a good source to check the spec of the particular models
I'm also considering a 500s what is the equipment level like compared to the lounge?
500s or 500 lounge what's the best?

Evening. A good choice [emoji16]

I found a good source of spec was HonestJohn.co.uk as they cover most models on a yearly basis, to keep up with spec changes.

When looking for my 500 I came across a couple of Lounges with two tone red and black seats but not sure why. I’m sure a resident expert will be along shortly to explain [emoji16] maybe towards the facelift they used what was left. (My sister in-law has a Panda Active 61 plate run out model with Dynamic seats)

With regards to Lounge v Sport, I think it’s really down to your tastes and to what you prefer.

I found Lounge’s more luxurious with more chrome and mostly the lighter ambience interior (white steering wheel, switches, speedo cowling etc and a body coloured dash)

The Sport is less chrome, always darker ambience interior, which I prefer - and dark grey dash and a couple of nice sport touches. Not sure about the GForce meter yet though [emoji6] But love Electronica Blue on the S

I’m very happy with my 500S 105 twinair IMG_1265.JPGIMG_1270.JPG

Hi Johnbee
Thanks for the reply & info i'd not thought about looking at honest john
I must admit I'm leaning more towards a 500s

Finally escaped lockdown and went for a lounge a bit more kit and much lighter inside than the s the car I bought has the the light single colour seats so still no idea why some lounges have 2 tone seats

... still no idea why some lounges have 2 tone seats

Originally the Lounge shipped as standard with supposedly premium black & white checkered fabric seats, and the Pop had supposedly budget two tone plain cloth ones.

In use, it soon became apparent that the checkered fabric seats were an absolute dirt magnet, and purchasers of the Lounge were given the option of specifying the Pop fabric instead, at no extra cost, and quite a few did so. Time has shown that the two tone fabric seats are likely to retain their appearance better than the checkered ones.

My daughters Lounge has the black/white chequered seat coverings and they show every bit of dirt! A spillage of plain drinking water ( why she needs a water bottle like a comfort blanket ? I don't know!, can't go anywhere without it) makes the seat covers look like the squatters have been in there for a couple of months! I did pay for a pro valet last summer but seats were back in the same state within days aaggghhhhh!
