1999 ELX wing mirror anyone

[Virmin]

My wife's 1999 ELX's wing mirror was vandalised along with my 2001 Punto, I bought mine off eBay, but am having problems finding one for hr car. Fiat want £48 + VAT.

Does anyone know where I can get one from, the outer casing has a clip-on colour coded panel.

Any help guys would be much appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the FF, not sure where else you could find a mirror cheaper than that, i had to buy one from Fiat back in the days when i had a punto, think i paid about £55, so about the same as your price + VAT

not sure if you wifes is a mk1 or mk2 but this site has mk2 (non elec) at £32 plus vat and mk1 at £33 plus vat

She's got a MK1 (with a cable mirror), I have a MK2, I bought a wing mirror off eBay for £25 and i'll fit it myself.

I've tried a few scrappies and they have none with the colour coded clip on bit.

Where do I find things on here for sale then?

yeah they are a good site do good stuff and nice prices they actually have a banner at the top of this site sometimes. highly recomend there windsreen wipers also lol postage is done by weight with them and there is an upper limit so if you need a few things you cna get to gether and save.

I need some front wipers, looks like i'll be getting them from here.

I just called them, and they don't have the MK1 wing mirror, grrr.

A new parcel shelf at that price would be handy too.

What Fiat have you got?

mk2 sporting.

they dont have the mirror arghh its listed must be out of stock can they get you one ?

they have just changed there website saying its not listed now but it was there a few minutes ago cause i got the price up lol

Nice sporting, I've got a MK2 with fat alloys on it, me and the Mrs have both got BK racing wheels, just need to clean them.

what side of the acr is the wing mirror you need. there is this one on ebay

this is a mk1 drivers side with the panel. you could take the pannel off and stick yours on maybe. also the plastic plate that fits onto car these changed shape depending on the year of the mk1 but they can be seperated from the actual wing mirror part. so you could use the one allready on your car.

again not sure of teh damagethat has been done to yours.


yeah i like my sporting even better when i get it all fixed lol no end of problems. butits pretty much standard except for stereo.

Cheers, I've saw that a few days ago, unfortunately it's the wrong type...bugger.

I'll keep looking and looking, eventually we'll come across one, if not, i'll have to stop being so tight and admit defeat and buy one off Ricambio for £43!!!!

And fit it myself, I called one garage near me and they wanted over £200 to supply and fit... cheeky buggers.

Anyway I'm off now.

Hello welcome to the site, sorry to hear about the vandalism, nasty people, when i had my back wiper snapped off i went with a company called www.shop4part.co.uk fiat and alfa parts quite reasonable price and it was at my house within three days
