Dear Members,
am new to the forum, i have a 1998 1.9 diesel camper that was working fine until the stop solenoid packed up, i replaced this and could only bleed the system using the ignition key turining the engine over as i could see no hand pump, however i had to use easy start to get it going, it then starts fine eventually.... then when started it will start straight away again if you turn it off, however after leaving for around 15mins it needs to have easy start to start it again, i do not beleive there is an electric fuel pump between the high pressure pump ( mecahical pump) and the fuel tank, it apears that after starting the fuel stops being primmed or somehow runs/suck back to the tank, i cant detact any leaks and once started it runs fine until you turn it off and leave for 15 mins or more, i opened and injector nut and the fuel wasnt there instantly it took a few turns of the engine to prime, i cant understand how the fuel is held at or close to the injectors, i cant see any non return valve in the system?
Thank you in advance for any help you can give please
kind regards
Jay
