I am a new happy owner of a Fiat Ducato Talento 1991 with 1.9D. Motorhome.

I just bought it and transported it home on a trailer.
My first problem is stuck gear shifter in Neutral.
Not possible to shift in any gear, locked in neutral, it is possible to push it.
I haven’t started looking on it yet, only info I know was previous owner told me “linkage” from shifter to gear box was ok.... I will start checking here anyway.
Is this a common problem? Do you think I need to take down gear box and change it? Something broken or stuck?
