Technical 1987 Panda Parts

Hi can any member recommend a good supplier of parts for my 1997 Panda 4 x 4. I have now retired, and am looking at getting it running

i get most of my parts on ebay but now there is less of them and they are getting more expensive

on a 1987 if it uses the 999cc FIRE engine (distributor on the side above gearbox) pretty much any parts from other pandas with the same engine will fit. generic service parts wont matter if its from a 4x4 or a 2wd. if you are replacing the cam belt and water pump, make sure to get the right type. you want the older "wide teeth" type cam belt and water pump. you wont damage the engine if its incorrect but it would cause the belt to fail (got to love a none interface engine) just annoying as hell to have to change it all over again. if in doubt ask here if its the correct parts the teeth of the belt/pulley are equal spacing.
