1986 Bertone x1/9 headlight motor

The motor on my 86 x1/9 blows the fuse when activating. Is this something that a worn motor would do? Any advice on troubleshooting this? Thanks in advance

May be the soldered connection at the back of the headlamp. Common problem. People often change the headlamp, but replacement link wires are available on Ebay for a few pounds. This cured mine.
