I have a one owner X-1/9 with 10k original miles that I’m never going to do anything with. It is a California car but does have some rust.
About every 5 years I take it to a mechanic and get it running again. Last time we did the brakes and clutch cylinders.
Parted out it would be worth quite a bit but I’d rather it went to someone who would restore it, which means you should be good with rust repair.
I once spent $5k on rust repair, but of course it never ends.
If you have any recommendations on finding a home for this car, let me know please.
