Have been watching this build for a little while( don't tell Ooooops that I have been unfaithful.)

Can't understand why you would in modify the modification that allowed the servicing of the steering box and brake master from under the bonnet!!!! (Second photo)

Further into my restoration I had to undo the modification which provided air conditioning via the rain guttering. I can't understand why the ventilation this provided didn't prevent rust forming as it did.
