2 grand is alot to a 17 year old, lol. Adrian Flux came back with a quote of £2100, getting better I suppose.. give it a few more months and see what it comes back at

My punto = £520 off my bro very cheap

Adrian Flux quoted £2100 on the sporting, and on the Corsa its about £1600, so yeah in the long run it would be cheaper to keep the punto.. will have to see what the quotes come up as in a few months..

I fell for the same trap mate, Bought a 1.4 Mk2b sporting before i passed my test. Got insurance for £1,500 thought okay i can live with that.......
Passed my test, Rang them up to tell them the good new's and the nice reply i got was "Congratulations, Your premium is going to go up to £3,000" I am due to re-new next year and things are looking abit better, Why dont you try Tesco? They gave me my cheapest quote.

Ive got a Mk2 1.2 8V and got quote of £1400 when i first passed with norwich union, i then did my pass plus and added my dad to the insurance as named driver and it went down to just under £1000. Now had a newal quote come through of £691, been driving for just over a year.
